Ultrasonic sensor for arduino with sensless price

 


Arduino needs a lot of sensors. Ultrasonic one is one of them. Most of the DIY component provider websites sale this HC-SR04 sensor abobe 800 Rs.. This is amazing because for carparking 4 tranducer back distance measure equipment comes for Rs 1500 only. It implies most site dont do serious business they sale it like cosmetics.

Recently I bought one for Rs 299+75= 350 from hacktronics shop on ebay. The shop has relisted the product now for Rs. 250+50= 300 Rs only and indicated 50 Rs here is shipping. Great I like this and work well. Only contraint with this seller is that it dont return the default piece. As I asked Hacktronics whether he have tested the same. He told that he buy in bulk from china and dont test large quantity.

If some how he test and then put a quality check it would become celebrity seller. The testing time with the arduing is very less.

Arduinodroid

  Arduinodroid is the android OS arduino IDE developed by volunteer. Actually USB to Serial communication problem was to solve for this. Android devices specially tablet are very popular nowadays and cheap (Ah the best thing for tinkerers). Although surprisingly nobody is paying serious attention to integrate these. New board like udoo , beaglebone-black etc are coming but still these dont have all the things my tablet have. Above other it is with me and arduino is with me. In my tablet I have WI Fi, bluetooth camera etc. but i dont have arduino interface and iteraction. Even when I buy a cape display for beagleboneblack it is expensive then the Beaglebobeblack itself. On the other hand you can have good tablet around. 5000 to 600 Rs only.
